HWY 283 TOUR SITESTraveling 283 north to south (or south to north) offers two state parks: Prairie Dog State Park in Norton and 86 miles to the south, Cedar Bluff State Park in WaKeeney. These two state parks offer hunting, fishing and camping. Starting just south of I-70 on 283, the Smoky Valley Scenic Byway will take you on a tour around Cedar Bluff Reservoir.
HWY 24 TOUR SITES
Take a tour off 283 onto HWY 24 to visit the Cottonwood Ranch State Historic site and learn about the African-American history in Kanas at the Nicodemus National Historic Site, where Exodusters sought freedom. Stop off in Morland to see the 3D Brick Mural at Citizens Bank, For more fishing and family fund, visit Antelope Lake and Webster State Park on this tour.

I-70 TOUR SITES Get off 283 at I-70 at WaKeeney and head west to visit the beautiful Cathedral of the West in Park and the Grainfield Opera House. Take the Collyer exit to visit Castle Rock and see Wildcat Canyon along the way. Be sure to include Shiloh Winery on your tour for a tour and wine tasting.
